How to use custom searches

By using custom searches, users can look up specific members. In addition to that, users can set the access authorization for pages, set the recipients of magazines, and much more, using the criteria set in custom searches.

Adding custom searches

1. Access the "Custom searches" page.
Search conditions can be set on the "custom searches" page. First, navigate to the "custom searches" page.

2. Register the search condition settings.
In this section, enter and set the following information as an example.
Please refer to Custom search for more details on each input field.

  • Custom search name: New + specific regional members
  • Shared: All members
  • Module search conditions: AND
  • Use for authority setting: Check "Use"
  • Memo: Blank

3. Register the search condition.
Search conditions can be set for "Member search conditions," "Search criteria for inquiries," "EC search conditions," and "Function search conditions."

As an example, let's search for members who have registered within the last 30 days and whose address is in Tokyo or overseas.

3-3. Set up a search criteria for members whose address is Tokyo and the address is overseas. Set [Prefecture][in][東京都], then click [Add] and set [Prefecture][in][海外]. Image (fetched from Gyazo)

3-4. Set the search condition. Set the condition between the Insert Date and Prefecture grouped condition to [AND], and the condition between the Prefecture within the grouped condition to [OR]. Image (fetched from Gyazo)

4. Check target member
Click on "Check targets" and make sure that the members are listed as expected.

Writing a relative date specification.

In the above example, we used relative to set today -30 day, but various other settings are also possible.
The format is based on the PHP date and time format.


Yesterday at 12:00"yesterday noon", "yesterday 12:00"
End of next month"last day of next month"
Specified date"2021-03-24"
First Sunday in January, 2021"first sat of January 2021"
Relative time specification"+5 weeks", "+12 day", "-6 month" etc.
